 => BT Special

Uniform colour, golden/red. Tossa of the finest texture, very strong and very good lustre. Completely free from any defects, clean cut and well hackled.

 


“Bangladesh

    Tossa A”

 => BT A

Uniform colour, silver grey to golden. Tossa of fine texture, strong and good lustre. Completely free from any blemish, clean cut and well hackled.

Uniform colour, light golden to reddish. Tossa of fine texture, strong and good lustre. Completely free from any blemish, clean cut and well hackled.

 

“Bangladesh

    Tossa B”

 => BT B

Light or medium grey/copperish grey. Clean and sound fibre of good texture and good average lustre. Fibre free from blemish clean cut and well hackled.

Light grey/reddish grey. Clean and sound fibre of good texture and good average lustre. Fibre free from blemish clean cut and well hackled.

 

“Bangladesh

    Tossa C”

 => BT C

Mixed colour, average strength, occasional bark and soft speck but free from runners. Slightly croppy and gummy tops permissible. Free from black wiry tops. Well cut and hackled and free from black root ends.

 

“Bangladesh

    Tossa D”

 => BT D

Mixed colour, average strength, occasional bark and speck but free from runners. Croppy and gummy tops permissible. Rough cut and hackled, but free from black-root end.

 

“Bangladesh

    Tossa E”

 => BT E

Any colour. Any strength but free from perished fibre. Free from unretted jute and stick but bark and hard centre permissible. Rough cut and hackled.

Tossa Rejection”

 => BTR

Any strength, any colour. Runner’s barks and specks allowed. Croppy and gummy tops with hard centred jute permissible but must be free from ravelled or tangled Perished and hard damaged fibre. Uncut Jute having fibre length of 1,067 m (3.5 feet) and above

 

“Bangladesh
Tossa Habijabi”

 => BTH

All ravelled or tangled rejection regardless of quality with godown sweeping but free from dust and foreign materials.

 

 

“Bangladesh
Tossa cutting ‘A’”

   => BTCA

Light golden or reddish/copperish with small black hard portion at the bottom soft fibre with occasional barks/speaks. Fibres must be soft with occasional barks/specks. Length 15-38 (6-15 inches) with 100% cuttings permissible below 15 cm (6 inches) and above 38cm (15 inches). Free from habijabi, godown sweeping, dust and foreign materials.

Tossa cutting ‘B’”

   => BTCB

Light reddish/copperish or mixed with black hard portion at the bottom specks, barks permissible. Length 15-46 cm (6-18 inches) with 10% cuttings permissible below 15 cm (6 inches) and above 46 cm (18 inches). Free from habijabi, godown sweeping dust and foreign materials.
